City Builders is the brainchild of Grace Turner and is an innovative music project fulfilled through collaboration with other artists from Toronto and beyond. City Builders started in early 2022 as a creative force between Grace and her former partner, until a romantic break-up turned the alt pop duo into a solo project in January 2025. Though painful, this heartbreak showed Grace a new depth of songwriting.
Grace’s resilience and focus on collaboration and community building, or City Building, makes the potential for City Builders unlimited. As Grace continues on her artistic journey, her songs and social media presence provide strength, introspection and entertainment for her Citizens. City Builders’ TikTok account is a diary of Grace’s journey while her humour and diva persona keeps her 17k followers engaged. Her “Group Scream” event received a lot of media interest and a demand for more community events from her followers.
