Eleven Minutes Late is an alternative rock band that first formed in January of 2023. The Toronto-based musicians draw inspiration from a wide selection of genres and artists, blending many styles to create their unique sound. From reflective rock songs with the defiant individuality of punk, to rhythmic tunes with a focus on drum and bass grooves you can dance to, Eleven Minutes Late delivers authenticity and personality with every performance.
Consisting of Wasim (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Vincent (lead guitarist), Luis (drums), and Zack (bass), the band is a fully collaborative unit. Each member contributes to writing, performing, and building each new project from the ground up. There are no rigid roles behind the scenes; whether it’s creative direction or logistical planning, everyone plays a part. That shared sense of shared ownership gives their music a unique identity, one that reflects the voice of every member.
Over the last two years, Eleven Minutes Late has begun to carve out their space in the local scene, with performances like their shows at Adelaide Music Hall and Sneaky Dees standing out as milestones. With fans already singing along to the covers they play, they’re building toward a future where the crowd knows their original music by heart. Fuelled by a desire to share their perspective and connect with people through their music, the band is gearing up to return to the studio and record more music, continuing to evolve their sound, widen their audience, and tell their story.
